Friday, 4 JANUARY 2013

Happy Friday everyone!  It's still freezing outside, so here's another indoor special!!

5 rounds for time:
7 x push press (dumbbells or barbell)
14 x front squat (scale = air squats)
21 x weighted box step-ups (scale = no weights)

Post weight used and time to comments.

    using two 8lb hand weights for all three exercises and a 14in high step up:
    1: 1:25.1
    2: 1:34.6
    3: 1:42.1
    4: 1:39.8
    5: 1:38.6

    Question: How should I be counting the step ups? I have always done step up, step up, step down, step down, 1, repeat for 2, etc.
    Is that right? I know it's been written before one step=1 rep but I don't know what that means if it's not what I wrote above. Please advise!

    2 /15lb db for push-press, 15lb for squats, 15 lb for step-ups on 16" step.

    Jen: we count the step ups the way you described :).
