Monday, 14 JANUARY 2013

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

For today's WOD, grab a pair of dumbbells and get ready to do some work!

10 rounds for time:
6 x dumbbell knees to overhead (check out VIDEO for demo of movement)
9 x weighted lunge steps (hold weights to chest or at sides; each step = 1 rep)
12 x weighted sit-ups (weights on chest; anchor feet under your couch or something sturdy)

Post time and weight of dumbbells used to comments.

  2. 12 lb kettle bells (I did Supermans instead of the knee to overhead), 14:50. And, can I tell you my butt muscles hurt like they never have before?! I guess that's what 90 weighted lunges will do...no pain, no gain! ;)

  3. ha! Carrie--I did this workout today but didnt time myself so not sure how long it took--definitely longer than 15 minutes. However, I can already tell my butt is going to hurt. I'm dreading tomorrow morning. :) I used 15 pound dumbells.

  4. My total time was 19 minutes. I used two 15lb. weights for the arms, one 15lb for sit ups and only 15lbs for two rounds of lunges and then moved down to 5lbs (soar knees from starting back running). Great overall workout. :)
